Invisalign™
InvisAlign Introduction
Straight Talk about Crooked Teeth
Invisalign for Teens
Overview
Invisalign® takes a technological approach to straighter teeth, using a custom-fit series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are constructed from smooth, comfortable and nearly invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
Treatable Cases
From mild cases of crooked teeth and protruding teeth, to much more difficult dental problems involving serious malocclusion, overbite, or underbite, Invisalign® effectively corrects a wide variety of dental problems. Whether your teeth are widely gapped, overly crowded or somewhere in between, Invisalign has an affordable teeth straightening option for you.
Overcrowding
This female thought that there wasn't enough room within her mouth for her teeth to fit normally. If left untreated, her over-crowded mouth could cause dental decay, and increase her chances of gum disease, and can prevent the normal function of teeth. She was treated with Invisalign over the course of approximately 10 months.
Crossbite
This 27-year-old female had misaligned upper and lower jaws. This caused her upper teeth to bite on the inside of her lower teeth, and she could tell it was causing excessive wear. This issue could also cause gum disease and bone loss. Her Invisalign treatment lasted approximately 9 months.
Gapped Teeth
This 56-year-old male hated that his teeth were spaced far apart. His gaps might also cause some periodontal diseases. His Invisalign treatment lasted approximately 10 months.
Overbite
This 38-year-old female had upper teeth that overlapped her lower teeth too much. Not only is this a cosmetic issue, but it can lead to health problems later in life. She was treated with Invisalign in approximately 20 months.
